you said he was worthless
threw him to the curb and laughed

everyone else
they called you an angel
your honey sweetened smile a mockery

they called you an angel
lauded you for your kindness
for your grace

but you called him worthless
said he should die
that hell was waiting

he listened, he died
it was your fault

and he did reach hell
