My Paper Boat

Swarup Bhattacharya

When I was stopped to go to school
in my young days,
my perturbed mind only could find
to play in natural water pool.

I floated a paper Boat
on the swirling water
and worriedly observed
its effort.

Now I am sailing my life Boat
over the turbulent water
but still I can remember that paper Boat
and accelerate my vigorous effort.
