Broken Dreams

We come from a broken home
I never knew my father,
and was very young
to even remember my mother.

My dreams were to have
a very big family,
with lots of love
and living very happily.

But things don't ever
happen the way we plan,
they all left their separate ways
and where do I stand.

Then along the way
we made mistakes,
some we're not proud of
to many to rake.

Here's to all of my family
whom I love very much,
and I miss you all
with all a great bunch.
