Just a thought

I always think of life
A book in progress
I always think of age
A chapter that's soon forgotten
I always think of time
A progress without control
I always think of me
A cog in a big clock
What good is a cog?
Without proper function.
Still I search my reason
Of what I am here for
Where's that inner noise?
Reminding me to keep my poise.
Where's that perfect moment?
When there's nothing to comment.
Should I make a difference?
Or should I be the difference?
Good or bad it's okay.
Who's there to judge?
For I am what I am
For the rest of my time.
