DARK STAR

Dark star sends no warmth
Down to the chilled minions,
Of this frozen land.

Unearthly wailing
The dark star touches its prey;
Capturing their souls.

Dark star sears its prey
Charring them through to the soul,
Leaving them to die.

Once a source of heat
Providing power and light,
Now a lifeless ball.

Now its only use
Is to suck away the trash,
That once were live worlds.

Dark Star not shining
Like a good star surely would,
Only black above.
