Colors of hair

Where are you going?

Months pass as your hair changes
Going somewhere to be someone
To be yourself, free spirited and without shackles
Your choices will always be yours

Your happiness will come to you, as colors change you remain the same
Living with the colors of the rainbow throughout your life

Which is your favorite?
I know which it is but what does it mean?
To be free and alone, the one thing we are seeking

And on those sad days, I hope you remember that it’s just a bad day and not a bad life, that even through the cloudy days, your ray of sunshine will always shine through, the ever lasting rainbow above your head

Carrying the sunshine and wonders of life on top
To be someone, always be you,
You can live in the memories, but that will only guide you down your future

Walls so high up, can one try to climb over? From my sight, all I can see are the beautiful lights of color showing over them
I wonder if through all this will I be by your side?

To the see the girl with colors on her head, blossoming the world as she walks,
And if I ever saw her I’d say, thank you for always staying true to your colors.
