Heavens door

Dear daddy,
They say there is always a reason, and yeah I guess that's true, but still I can't help but wonder why they had to take you. Hearts continue beating and memories they seem to reappear, and with each passing day I wish more and more you were here. There are things I'll never really truly understand, losing you so early was never something I had planned. My dad is up in heaven while I am here on earth, before he passed away I didn't know his worth. What I'd do to see you just one more time and hear your voice once more, if love was enough to keep you here you never would have walked through heavens door.
