Unfairness or divine preference?

GIDRAF MWANGI 1992 (Murang'a)

We all adhere to the same commands
We all have to contend with the same setbacks
And the result for all of us has to be the same
Yet the preparation for the journey is not the same.

Where they are welcomed by poverty with open arms
Their future is always sealed at birth
And that ensures a life full of misery henceforth

With wealth and goodness covering them like a clothe
Their life is full of merry and goodness
And nothing bothers them as they live their lives

But they are both expected to follow the same code
With the discrepancy that create a rift so broad
What will make the poor not to be jealous of the rich
Or cursing their maker for denying them the privilege
Of being rich!

Is it unfairness or………….
