THE ODD SUMMER VACATION EVER

The best part of one’s schooldays,
That can’t be ever replaced,
It is our summer vacation,
Is it less than any occasion?

Children are filled up of delight, eagerness and satisfaction,
These days there is hardly any limitation for imagination,
Every kid wants to taste the all new ice-cream flavor,
And not prepared to quit the jam buster which is popular.

Hardly any boy is free from cricket,
And girls are exposing their dolls out of the buckets.
People aspires to be on the shore,
Hanging out, swimming, surfing and willing to explore.

A movie schedule is being prepared before,
The sib who wins the remote is only going to roar.
All our study books are kept aside,
Nobody remember them until it’s time to have the school bus ride.

Everyone is locked up inside the room,
There isn’t a sign of happiness because of impending doom.                             
COVID is the main reason behind this circumstance,
Nobody can sing and dance,
On the other hand; it is disrupting human existence.

But it is a big fault to lose our hope,
Because one day it is going to be all perfect,
And again we’ll be enjoying our summer vacation,
And it won’t be less than any occasion.
