Ruler of the night sky
A dimmer black, in silhouette
A streaking through the sky
From horizon to horizon apart

Many are the moments
I hold my breath in bates
Waiting you to smash into a light pole
Only to see you swerve like a hit ball

Whenever I see your wings
I always wonder what it is
That makes you queer and odd
Coz I see no feathers, or am I blind?

They say you are blind
But when you perch, you get a hold
When you meet a building
You don’t go into but fly along

Maybe to some extent they are right
Because my ears you once hit
Or are they so small to see?
Oh! Your face bat, I would like to see!
