Analysis of Sorry momma
Denise Burger 1987 (TENNESSEE)
So sorry momma,
So sorry daddy,
I know addiction,
Wasn't your choice.
I know you never ment,
To hurt us,
But you left us,
Broken and confused,
Tormented and abused.
As an adult,
We each have our own,
Demons left to fight,
We each have depression,
Left with biploar and aggression.
Some of us,
Have children,
Some of us don't,
At least at the end of the day,
We won't make the choices you make.
I wrote this the other day ... #NationalPoetryMonth2021
