Analysis of Letter to tomorrow
Uhunoma Leonard Iyahen 1986 (United States)
Dear tomorrow ,how are you doing ?
Am a poet also an artist named Leonard who is worried that you May not recognize me
And tell people about me and my works and all the sacrifice
I have made to get to you daily as I live.
I have patiently sat down with calm and ease and written poems, songs
And carried out business plan, believing you oh tomorrow will take me seriously and show my works to the entire earth as I breath.
Did you oh tomorrow hear about the last poem that I wrote ?
Do you oh tomorrow understand the meaning behind my thoughts ?
Or its just another poem you never appreciated and gave a thought?
Okay , May be I am doing what you don’t like that’s why you have not
Become proud of me to show my works through out the earth,
But how come bad news flies?
Today I write you this letter oh tomorrow
Hoping you write back and let me know
In the future if truly you have recognized and appreciate my
Hard works of today. Until then I keep working even harder today. Hope to hear from you soon oh tomorrow. Family and friends sends their regards, Robinson the great Author sends his regard, hope you have also seen his works and how much he has done in various field we all look forward to you oh tomorrow and we are on our way to you with all our works of today hope you receive us all with smiles on your face. For we can’t bear to see you ashamed . Thanks for rewarding Shakespeare , wole Soyinka , and some others for their works. See you soon tomorrow
Yours sincerely Uhunoma Leonard Iyahen.
