Analysis of Wall of My Past
Samantha Tudor 1989 (Missouri)
One more time I've reached the wall,
Trying to climb it but I fear the fall.
My perceived reality,
Isn't what i want it to be.
Maybe if i change my perception,
That will lead me in a new direction.
But it's so hard not to question,
Will I ever learn to stop reflecting on my own reflection?
There's no more second guessing,
This the beginning of my last confession.
Yet still i cry for i know I'll fail if all i do is try,
So don't tell me to stop and don't ask me why.
It time to move forward just get it done,
My past I must overcome.
It will hurt to remember, but my forgiveness I don't regret.
The past is in the past i can move on,
But never will I forget.
