Analysis of Else
Muti 1975 (Johannesburg)
Else there’s reason for my sorrow,
else the sun won’t shine today,
else the seasons will not follow
so to sow a sweeter way.
Else for treason, or tomorrow
else what have I else to say?
Suffice my soul is simply hollow
since my heart has run away.
