Analysis of Opinions

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

As far as opinions go.
To express them into one ear.
And out from the other.
I believe in my own opinions.
Whether to agree or disagree.
Eliminating arguments to invite,
Confusion left to leave...
Mental conflicts to find,
Not my own to have them start.
Stopping them the moment,
They attempt to disturb...
My peace of mind.
I earned to deserve kept to keep.
And, that's it.
What I have come to value,
Ain't going nowhere.
For anyone to expect,
I am prepared to defend...
My opinions as they are to believe!

'Your stubbornness,
Is as fixed in cement as can be.'

And...
That to discover and observe,
Means to me or you...
What?
I have not learned,
Lessons to me taught?
