Analysis of white lie

noor berber 2000 (South Carolina)

i was nothing but a little white lie.
i didn't want to be a pain
i didn't want to worry you,
i didn't want to be a pain

it happened more than once
i did it for you,
yet it was all because of you
nothing more than a little white lie

that was the little white lie you believed
it was only once just once i promised
i had the blade in my hand another 20 times
but you couldn't know that
the white lie you believed

that was the little white lie you used against me
i wanted to protect you
yet you couldn't care less about me.
you cared about yourself
