Analysis of Questions

Questions 1947 (durham,NC)

where do I go from here?
      What do I see?
Is being black enough for me?
Should I do what I feel for me?
Internal questions can I ask them freely?
Black is beautiful so they say
Where are our black men?
Where did they stray?
Are they all in prison?
Did they marry out of our race?
Are some homosexuals?
Would we think this a disgrace?
What if we as beautiful black women had
               strayed?
And took the chance to lose our black men
And then gave them the chance to find us again?
