Analysis of Is It

The skip in your heart when on Christmas morning you find a ribbon wrapped in a puppy

When you'd rather spend all night on the phone saying nothing, than to be in an empty room

When two sets of plans for a future path unite to become only one road leading to eternity

Laughter in the bedroom when you are naked and vulnerable, willing to bare and share your soul

Tears of elation when you witness a new life emerging into the world from your combined efforts

Arms around you to quell the tears of pain and cast out all the doubts and fears to the four corners

Seeing beauty in every wrinkle, scar and blemish and wanting to, every day forth, for a timeless existence

The knowing glimpse from across the room, reading each other's thoughts because they are one

The embrace that sends a shockwave of energy through both bodies heightening every sense

Starting a sentence to have it finished because they hold your exact thoughts in their own mind

Filling that space in the heart that has been longing, aching to be filled by the only puzzle piece that fits
