Analysis of Alberta Ruth ....

Alberta Ruth ….

She loved to travel,
To gamble and create.
In the following words,
You’ll remember and relate.

You see, she is gone now,
Because she had a date.
She had to meet God,
At his Pearly Gate.

Ships on the ocean,
Airplanes in the sky.
There wasn’t a travel,
That she wouldn’t try.

Grass skirts are dancing,
Her feet in the sand.
This must be Hawaii,
Caught with Poi in her hand.

Nickels and dimes,
Pennies and quarters.
Into the slots,
No special order.

Winning or losing,
Did not matter to Al.
Everyone loved that,
Gamblin’ Ole Gal.

Cookies and candy,
Pies and cakes.
Some of the things,
She loved to bake.

Pretty and classy,
Standing so tall.
She made it a point,
To have cookies for us all.

Sewing and knitting,
Crocheting and such.
It didn’t take long,
And she had made so much.

Dresses and shirts,
Blankets and skirts.
Aprons and robes,
And slippers for toes.

She did it all,
And had such fun.
Gifts she had made,
For everyone.

With a sparkle in her eyes,
And a smile on her face.
She was truly a woman,
Made with God’s touch of Grace.

With grief on our face,
And tears in our eyes.
We can feel the ways,
She touched our lives.

The pictures we have,
We’ll cherish and treasure.
Because this lady of class,
Was life’s greatest pleasure.

A sister she lost,
And brothers too.
Together at last,
The Smith family crew.

Alberta Ruth …….
The epitome of life,
Shared with us all.
