Analysis of Socks

The comforter of thou feet
Protector of thou feet like a soldier protecting thine nation
But thou might ask how does it protect like the favored shoe
Shoe protects from the ground and the elements
Sock I shalt say for the greatest creation yet
The sock offers comfort like a water bed at a motel
Yet protects like a castle around thine leg
Socks have been in wars and have came out alive
Socks cannot be killed but can be changed
If only Achilles had a sock on his foot
He would not be limb with lifeless eyes
All civilized men wear socks thou would demented not to
If only nations gave out socks world hunger would be stopped
If only…
Socks would provide world peace
World hunger would go away
Pain would be worthless whence everybody has socks
Everybody would live forever for socks are the giver of life
Bring back the dead a good pair of socks could do I say
Moses, Jesus, Da Vinci and Washington all bought back from the power
The power that could united the world like U.N. never could
A power so strong that global warming would stop
A power that would lead us to alien life
So socks I dear say are good for your feet and for the world
Nay! I dare say they are best and I hope you stay but for more lines this poem has
Raise and rise to occasion pray to the gods that socks shall rain from the heavens
Angels wear no wings only socks of fitted feet
Perplexed you might be but I say No but for today we shalt always wear socks
With sandals, sneakers, boots, and flip flops
You can’t say you have lived your life unless you have worn a exemplary pair of socks
Have thou lived yet?
Nay?
But from this day onward I vow to get every person on the planet a pair of socks no matter the price or the cost of life
Socks can change everything
