Analysis of Take Me

As the sun sets so does the pain
Darkness comforts me unimaginably
Diamond tears flowing endlessly
Numbness I welcome thee
Sunny days I loathe
To hatred I succumb
Those lying eyes I see through
Giving life to this withered soul
Never ending agony
Oh darkness comfort me
I beg thee take me
Away from this god I scorn
For he wraps me with a blanket of animosity
A smile that deceives
Words that cloud my judgment
His idyllic gestures are foreboding
Take me I beg thee
Away from this lunacy
