Analysis of There Is A Mess Here (America)

Jasmin Jay 2004 (Riverside California)

There is a Mess Here (America)
(by Jasmin Jay in the style of Jamal May and Clint Smith)

There is a mess here
It may be grounded and
spread out as to seem
more orderly, and no, not
orderly as in tidy or neat but
Instead well mannered, law-abiding
And well behaved, and no
Not grounded as in
sensible but Instead
grounded by the people
Like a mother would
Her son, and no the mother
Is not mad, merely
Disappointed in the sons
Choices, but all in all
There is a mess here
Filled with people, paper
Work, laws, and problems.
