Analysis of 2020/09/28 ~ The Stars Are Watching Me Again
Cheyenne Seaman 2003 (Philadelphia)
The moon, she dazzles bright tonight
For her date as clouds are running by.
The breeze is cooling off my heated skin
And it feels that the stars are watching me again.
The choir of crickets, they're singing alto;
Cicadas all sing soprano.
So full of sounds, that's what life is,
But I swear, I can't hear a thing.
Summer's fading, Autumn's dancing,
The leaves are swirling in.
The days are shorter, nights getting longer
And the countryside's cooling off.
Darkened skies, Carolina blues;
I think that's my heart's current tune.
Alabama, so far away,
That's where I'll be someday.
Dream college, horses' stables;
I'm goina spread my wings, be an eagle.
Strange new people, opportunities,
That's what my new home will be.
My gypsy heart must not ponder
What next year will bring, but rest knowing this.
The moon, she dazzles bright tonight
For her date as clouds are running by.
The breeze is cooling off my heated skin
And it feels that the stars are watching me again.
