क्या होता है पिता
क्या है ये तुमको पता
जो है जीता
अपना जीवन सही
पर अपने लिए नहीं
सुबह से शाम
दिन रात काम
बिना किये आराम
हर हाल में
रखता है ख्याल में
जैसा भी हो आपना जीवन
खिलाएंगे एक नया उपवन
कब तक रहता किसका साथ
सब छोर जाते हाथ
पर इसको भुलाकर
जीवन में फूल खिलाकर
पोस्ता-पलता
बड़ा है करता
वही है एक पिता
और कोई नहीं भाग्य-विधाता

Kya hai ye tumko pata
Jo hai jita
Apna jivan sahi
Par apne liye nahi
Subah se sham
Din rat kam
Bina kiye aaram
Har haal me
Rakhta hai khyal me
Jaisa bhi ho aapna jivan
Khilayenge ek nya upwan
Kab tak rahta kiska sath
Sab chhor jate hath
Par isko bhulakar
Jivan me phool khilakar
Posta-palta
Bada hai karta
Wahi hai ek pita
Aur koi nahi bhagya vidhata
