Analysis of Work from Home

Blessed was I on a rainy day, I felt,
Of absence from stringent office
To enjoy on-line work from humming home
Away from time bound duty
Close to duty bound oppressive time,
Free from formal ties and toes
On casual shirts, shorts n' sorts

Resting resident president was I that day
Till high-rise Sun aroused me thru' eastern vent
The toss of my clients to bowl at me began
Before I answered my bowl's call even
My kingly clients at different time zones
Indifferent to my time zone, timed in,
Zoomed in calls to log in my solo services

Soon I was in the net of my fielding warriors
Bowling from diverse corners to bat, combat their balls
One or all at a time leaving my fingers crossed
Levying my head with a tussle n' wrestle,
In the buzz of blue tooth blow deep into my ear
To solve the puzzle of teasing task in time

Sandwiched by curious clients' clarion calls,
My tots' cat-calls and my beckoning body calls
I was on tenterhooks battling on screen posers
With mouse, keys and cursor to sponsor answer
All and sundry camouflaged the fun of my day

Pouched my lap-top lapped in hand and chest
Ran in and out around and up and down the stairs
As my residual resident errands too took toll on me
I did no ‘does' and did all ‘don'ts' – I am sorry
I was run out, caught out, knocked out in sequence

Oh. No… Work from home is only lonely battle of wits
