Analysis of Whose Business?

Worker:
The new hire has been coughing
hard so, he even spits blood
his house is awashed with July flood
just a few hours is all he asks

Employer:
what business of mine is it
so long the work is done
and all  well done

Worker:
Rosemary's mother died
first of her ten children
she cried and the tears have dried
compassion is all she needs

Employer:
what business of mine is it
so long the work is done
and all  well done

Employer:
Profit figures are way below
a hundred men may have to go
trippled wage is all to pay
who cares what they have to say

Employer:
what business of mine is it
so long the work is done
and all well done

Worker:
One day the foundation started to give way
years of hard work down the drain
we folded our hands watching in the rain
and this was all we had to say:

What business of ours is it
so long the lord next door
will bear our wage
