Analysis of Wars and Rumors
Wars and Rumors
In this tattered world
Of stress and fear
There is a beacon,
that shines ever clear
Explosions to the left,
gun fire on the right
Sounds of screams,
heard day and night
When man tries to explain,
no words will assuage
the misery felt when
we turn from God
Let all who can listen,
be quiet and hear
the words from within,
that defuse all fear
Words of promise,
spoken so long ago
that today they say,
it can't be so
Yet every promise,
always brought near
leads to a path,
that is crystal clear
Though narrow it be,
and not easy to pass
ti's worth the effort,
for what we gain at last
The storms that will come,
will not forestall
The rise of the Prince,
to the eternal King
As His reign takes hold,
and anger and wars quell
This we know for sure,
We'll meet at the well
We'll drink our fill,
Our thirst be quenched
our bodies that hurt,
will be totally spent
We are now new,
no pain no tear,
No more war,
no more fear
The despot is gone,
no more a reminder
no more to be seen,
he is gone forever
not even a dream
Our King has come
to claim what's His
We will bask in His Glory,
we will sing His song
stories will be told,
of the day awaited so long
The day He took back
what is rightfully His
The day He took delivery
for the price on a hill
He sits with us now
at a table huge
and said to all
from this time forth
Be it known,
I AM has brought
His family home,
and never again
shall they roam
