Analysis of VENUS de MILO
Sculpture unveiled
A figure shaped into her
Broken, to be reviled
Venus de Milo art
Left naked…
Amid, the Roman streets
Cradling her pebble heart
A misjudgment
To a masterpiece
Thus, once to merely be
But, here in now
Crying drips of granite
A taint of tarnished soul
The statue of misery
With teardrops of acid rain
On exhibition
For the whole world, of curiosity
Until, the artiste
From off, afar
With genius eyes
Understands the beauty, underneath
And dares...
Then, etches
The jagged edges, away
Revealing brilliance
By what once was shame
And his devotion surfaces
Upon my display
Now, "I am admired"
An Empress on parade
