Analysis of Time To Say Goodbye

Time To Say Goodbye

In romantic relations power must reside
 with the one least invested
 in the other side.

Dissimilar commitment makes unequal risk
 for the inherent hazards
 in a gambol frisk.

In "compensating" steelyards weight need counterpoise
 for balanced stability
 by "avoirdupois."

Trifling with deep affection can destroy the faith
 of conscientious sweethearts
 who are dumped with scathe.

In the final equation, without binds that tie,
 before disintegration
 it's time for goodbye.
