Analysis of This bond
Some people say that its not right
To exist in life a bond so tight
Between a woman and a man
Unless in marriage it will end
We are limited by the sexes
As hypocrites leave traces
Of their need to know it all
Unconcerned with struggling souls
They don’t know of that one-day
When this bond my soul saved
From giving up and loosing hope
As I looked at that rugged rope
Don’t you listen to the crowd
Nor condone their childish shouts
Full of envy they prey on your desire
For you are the one who inspires
I’ll be your “friend” forever
Not only a lover, never a stranger
For this bond will survive the scorn,
Of those who wallow in their mourn
Life doesn’t come with black and white answers
Those who say so are mere pretenders
Let this bond become a dam so strong
To keep their thoughts out of our own
