Analysis of The Triumph Made Routine
There seems no greater triumph than
Impossible accomplished once.
But something more may yet be done:
The triumph made routine.
Where greater spirits labored long,
some day the lesser walk in comfort,
Treading with impunity
Paths geniuses swept clean.
Fruit heroes plucked from frozen peaks
Now grows in every summer garden.
Thus achievement’s handed down
From pinnacle to plain.
And what is left for greatness, then?
To undertake a new achievement,
Venture up an unclimbed mountain,
Triumph once again!
