Analysis of The State Of Helen

Your quiescence dear Helen
Piques a poet's heart...it
Devours wholly unchewed
All feathered pseudo gods.
Your silence skips, rejects
A fortune, like evading an enemy
In a battlefield of no war.
Your sigh sweet Helen
Marked the beginning
Of my manhood.
Your death glorifies those
Who cannot, both mind and heart--
Antonymous to me, for
Your death signifies, as it would--
A new world
I hate to live in, for
Its denizens are the dead, not the living.
Your death my dear Helen
Means my uttermost silence.
