Of Note: Feeling And Falling

Pining for the lost magic of a forsaken time...
In a brand-new day and place, you find
It knocking on your door...once more.
As wise as you are...by now, know that
It could be lumpen and downright--phony.
Therefore, keep your mind wide open.
Don't trust your eyes, because they do not,
Almost always see, nor guarantee--"forever,"
Which is what you really should be after.
Know that you are not a rug doll that
Can just be tossed aside, or thrown away.
You are a living, breathing child of the
Most-High God--no one, no man should dare
Mess around with--ever. And know also that--
You are an angel of a child to those whose
Love and nurturing made you--the great person
That you are, who knows that, in love, there
Is a difference between feeling and falling.
Feeling leads to falling. Don't ever fall
Victim to its "seeming weakness" and strength.
