Analysis of The Soulful Poet

The voice of the past
can no longer last
when the beat of my heart
has re-cast

their time has now come
i've found that they're done
my destiny, appears,
has been won

the questions I asked
the answers I sought
with effort and angst
lead me aloft

i'm finally clear
i'm finally whole
the end of my quest
is, i am my soul!
