Analysis of The shadow
I find myself in the shadow
As a stranger
Who takes a part in this life
By accident
Almost as an intruder
Who doesn’t know the rules
Of this game
I try to put on a brave face
This that within me I do not really care
Of the things so close to me
The deepest love we feel
Is this far away
This that we can’t touch
Looking far on the horizon
That we reach on the stars
But not this one which is so close
To become everyday life
So simple as the baby's cry
Demanding to change its nappy
But I’m coming back to you
Seeing you covering boys
While you look at them
With such a tenderness
That tears put away
This internal voice
Which is pushing me
To the circle of magical dreams
That are stifling
This love with the smell of life
