Analysis of The Reparations of Guilt

The pieces of my heart,
Remain scattered across the battle field, barely alive.
My thoughts, hopes, and desires,
Were slaughtered without mercy.
I sit unaccompanied in a trench of disbelief,
Absorbing the brutal murder of my reality.

Him, my ally,
Conniving and sinful.
I found my reality wrought with lies,
As you both slit my confidence in two,
I must tear our non-aggression pact to shreds.

And you, my enemy,
Manipulating, treacherous, and deceptive.
You deliberately dictated his sinful behavior.
Who to blame for such a tragedy?
An ally or an enemy?
Both should live in perpetual guilt.

My past remains a nightmare,
As I think of it, my hands quiver.
My present continues to twist further in the barbed wire of repugnance.
My heart wobbles in disarray, weary from battle.
My future lies ill-defined, as my stomach churns,
Aching for a revolution.
The cause?
You.

The shrapnel of my exploded heart lies on the floor.
Count the pieces,
Too many.
Our peace treaty must be shred,
As you massacred the faith I had in you.

My whole world demands revitalization,
For my hopes, dreams, and wishes,
Are hardly breathing because of you two.
I represent eternal disarray,
As shards of my heart lie strewn across the battle field,
Barely breathing.

Reparations are in order,
As I lost everything in this unanticipated battle.
I pray you enter an eternal depression,
Forever buried in the turmoil of guilt.
As my mighty fortress of acceptance is restored,
I shall incarcerate you,
And you will face becoming my eternal prisoner of war.
