Analysis of The Pirate and the Outlaw

It was a cool night upon my ship, the black pearl
When the gentle tide brought me a wonderful girl
A bonnie lass that had blue eyes crying in the rain
She said she was an outlaw and Lela was her name
I'm Captain Jack Sparrow, I said with a pirate smile
If it is freedom you seek, love, stay with me for awhile
She held my compass that pointed to her hearts desire
A unicorn appeared; I said this is all we require
Soon we took flight and found ourselves on dry land
Galloping near the sea on a beach of pristine white sand
Our journey took us to the air and through a waterfall
Flying like the wind riding a rainbow is all she recalled
Now we were back on the black pearl, Lela soon realized
Pirates and outlaws were the same just a different disguise
My heroes have always been cowboys, she heard the tune
Jack and Willie Nelson singing in the light of the full moon
