Analysis of Terror
I tried to run, I tried to hide,
But it was no mystery from the tears I cried,
I tried to forget it, but I didn't know,
All the pain I went through would surely show,
I go to sleep at night, I would dream,
I didn't know how much fear my dreams would bring,
I go to work; he would drive by,
Who would've thought he was that type of guy,
I acted like nothing happened; I acted like nothing was wrong,
That act I played didn't last very long,
I never told anyone, I never said anything,
I didn't know how much terror this nightmare would bring,
He showed me he had no respect for me,
He wouldn't stop when I fought, kicked, or screamed,
He took my joy; he put fear in my heart,
That was the day that everything started falling apart,
He tried to suck all the life out of me,
It's a never-ending nightmare in my life it seems,
I kept to myself; I never did anything to anyone,
This was just his way of having some fun,
I never thought this would happen to me,
I had always seen things like this on TV,
I hate that I have to live with this forever,
I hope the next girl doesn't have to go through this terror.
