Analysis of Spirit of Winter
My world is filled with pain ,
How my heart breaks apart.
I am the spirit of lonely winter,
Upon a withered tree in snowy dark.
I have seen into night's deep,
Where shadows cast long loom.
I am a crow perched up high,
A specter of hinted coming gloom.
With icy mist and slow breath,
And a chill inside my bones.
I sense awaiting fear and eminent death,
Knowing that I'm quite alone.
I see more than I should,
In the quiet of my reservation.
A glint of moonlight on feathers,
Held together by sheer imagination.
In the silent frosted still,
A baren wasteland wanting thaw.
I fly from branch and bow,
Through echoes of frozen call.
