Analysis of Speech

Standing before a group of peers
is like a thrill with spears
Every word is held in awe, as one
clearly expels the words they want to hear.
Is it from the heart or is it from the head
these words that are expelled.
Laughter breaks the ice and questions bring
them near. To what end is a speech then but
a means to appear.
