Analysis of Sooner or later!

The news of this world is grave, dark and troubling.
How could they just open fire and kill people who are unknown to them.
Men, women and children are nothing but targets, like a game.
High score wins, gets the prize, and they become a legend for the next ones.

Why? Everyone ask as they drink in the gore, bloody scenes and life lost.
Why? Reporters ask any who will speak: experts, clergy, and politicians.
Why? Asked friends, family, neighbors; those for whom an opportunity is seen.
Yet no one answers, none can say what spawned the anti-life beast, the demon.

Is the flaw in the basis of our society, God given rights or men who speak as God?
How is it right to restrict love? Demand the structure of family? Where is choice?
Why is it noble to be a single parent? Everyone makes mistakes, wrong choices.
The towns of old shared the burden of children's growth, not so today.

Don't spank my child. Don't correct them. I'll correct them if it's needed.
Make it easier for them; give them advantages we never had. Free their minds.
Right and wrong have many meanings, good and evil are obscure definitions.
You're only wrong if you get caught; besides we all are going to die.
Sooner or later!
