Analysis of Something'S Different

He awoke : eyes wide open,
feet on the floor
"high alert "senses
not the normal routine
" something's different !"
Screamed the voice inside his head.

He rushed to the hospital
single focus,tunnel vision
To her side,his sole purpose
save her life . he called for
a nurse, a doctor,
"come ! she can't breathe
she's choking ! the staff
came running...

he took her hand in his,
the other caressing her forehead
" it's okay,mom, i'm here ."
she took her last breath
and, died in his hands.
