Analysis of Something Going On

Got a bad  bad filing
 Something going on
My baby hasn't called me
 On the telephone
For at least a week now -  maybe two
 And if my suspicions are right
 Well I'm going to be so blue

Just the other day - seen my
Best friend Ray
Tried to talk to him
He didn't have much to say

Seems kinda strange
They be both gone at the same time
Oh  there's something going on !
Man I ain't lying

And if I find out - what I think is true
Going to have 'ta  find me
Oh somebody new

I saw the way she looked at him
When they first met
I'm trying to ignore it
But I just can't forget

Oh there's something going on
And when I find out
Something bad's  going to happen
Man there ain't no doubt

I know there's something going on
I ain't no dummy
They can't fool me
There ain't NO WAY
