Analysis of Slight Pain

Slight Pain
i am not supposed to feel this
pang inside my heart
he is not mine in the first place
because we are worlds apart

somehow, it eases me,
but still pains me so
he could have just told everyone
he could have just said so

im doing fine, really, i am
i could not do anything about it
nor did i have the power to stop it
maybe, it was about time that i learned about it

he may have had the first, the second or the third
but i know one thing is for sure:
if the time comes that we do set eyes upon one another
it is me who seals him the last kiss and breath, assured.
