Man of your Dreams

Living your life as normal as you could

Without a thought like this entering your mind;
One day as clear as it would be
You see him and you gaze and you fall.
No second thoughts, no doubts
You held this in your heart tightly as you can;
Smiling as you recognize
The feelings that make you free and content and happy.
Listening to the radio is now different

Reading love stories make you giddy;
Staring into the horizon seems normal
And a plastered grin speaks for itself to say you are in love.
Though no formalities of meeting
Though it is deemed impossible;
You cannot help but think it can happen soon
Just soon enough when you are very much ready to accept this.
Destiny. Fate. What is being ‘Meant to Be'?
Believing. Dreaming. Just to keep holding on to the faith;
Soon, you feel, soon will be the day
That you will be part of his world, part of him, and part of his love.
“I don't know when, I don't know how
But I know something is starting right now;
Watch and you'll see, someday I'll be
Part of your world”, or so The Little Mermaid sings.
It may be today, or later tonight
When you shake his hand, or feel his smile;
It could be in the second time, the third, or a lifetime
Of wanting to be by his side, close to him, be with him.
Deep inside you know
You feel, you emphasize;
He will be the one who you will wake up with in the morning
And the last person you will see at night.
