Analysis of Simple Man
I am a simple man,
Drifting thru time and space
Wondering what will come tomorrow,
On that different day.
I've held you in my arms and kissed you,
Eyes so filled with love
Tomorrow came
We had drifted in different ways
Being free and simple minded,
I never cried out the lose
Yet friends gathered close,
To ease my pain.
I cannot say I'm sorry
I have no time for useless tears
The face that stares
From the mirror is blank and free from fear.
Why do you call me?
I still can't say I care
We each must live
Our choices are for all our days.
I loved you when I loved you,
Those are sweet memories
And I still find a smile
Around the thoughts of past.
Please release me from your dreams now,
Let go those clutching hands
Life is an adventure,
We move forward, it's true for all.
Goodbye to you my lovers
Goodbye my childhood friends
I wish you all good fortune in the end
I'm am a simple man.
