Analysis of Showers of blessing
The rain drops splash on my upturned face,
The flowers sway with gentle grace,
Earth welcomes the rain with eagerness,
The lush green grass springs up in happiness.
The birds are enjoying the rain,
Their happy notes they sing again.
In life creation is budding forth,
Every place is filled with cheer and mirth;
While creation is enjoying the rain,
My soul longs to be without a pain...
Lord, as You cover the earth with abundant rain,
Shower on me Your blessings again!
