Analysis of Shampoo
How little we think of what little can please,
What modest an item can take to appease.
A once angry woman through loss of her hair,
Gave that very reason for the lost will to care.
But anger and sadness it could never win,
For letting it do so would just be a sin.
Thus fight with all effort a mind could produce,
With purpose to never become a recluse.
The fight wasn't easy; it did take a while,
To put up with offers of sympathy smile.
But put up she did, with no guarantee,
Until evidence of winning, the eye it could see.
The baldness was beaten and hair did now grow,
Albeit the new growth the color of snow.
But what it now meant is shampoo was needed,
And that is the testimony that she had succeeded.
