Analysis of Shaken baby
I did not ask you to be born
I'm now an object of your scorn
I irritate you when I cry
Please don't shake me; I might die
In ICU I lie in bed
I cannot think my brain is dead
A ventilator helps me breathe
Sometimes my body starts to seize
Dilated pupils I can't blink
Into a coma I slowly think
The outcome of your violent act
I can't recover, a tragic fact
Social service now reports this crime
In jail you surely will do time
So if you shake me I may die
I leave this earth and wonder why
