Analysis of Scared of the Dark
And near the stars you wait
For the flecks of light to take
So you could wake to a sunrise.
Your body begins to quake
Wishing the world you know would break
Then you could take your first steps towards happiness.
Finally no longer confined so you could make
The life that seems almost fake
And it's my hand you take so we can make it real.
